Refund policy
At Science in Sport New Zealand, customer satisfaction is important to us. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return eligible items in accordance with the policy below.
Return Period
You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.
Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:
- Unused and in its original condition.
- Returned in the original packaging with all labels and tags attached.
- Accompanied by proof of purchase or your order confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these requirements.

Return Shipping Costs
Unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, customers are responsible for the cost of returning the item.
We do not charge any restocking fees.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery.
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, contact us as soon as possible with photos of the product and packaging. We will investigate the issue and arrange an appropriate solution.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Gift cards
- Clearance or sale items (unless required by New Zealand consumer law)
- Products that have been opened, used, or are no longer in resalable condition
Exchanges
If you wish to exchange a product, please return the original item first. Once your return has been approved, you may place a new order for the replacement product.
Lost Parcels
If your parcel is lost during transit, please contact us.
We will work with the courier to investigate the shipment. If the parcel is confirmed as lost, we will offer either:
- A replacement (subject to stock availability), or
- A full refund.
Refund Process
After we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome.
If your refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note that your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time before the funds appear in your account.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours of purchase, provided they have not yet been dispatched.
If your order has already been shipped, it will be treated under our standard return policy.
